Our History

Tucci is the result of a long line of family influence.  Sunday dinner and all holidays were held around a big dining room table at the Italian grandparents' home; attendance was not an option, it was a must.

"Grandma Tucci," our restaurant's namesake, was an employee of the Lido di Venezia restaurant for 50 plus years and was as well known as the restaurant itself.  Food and family went hand in hand.  We are proud to continue her tradition with Tucci Italian Ristorante.  Our bar has been dubbed the "Lido Bar" in honor of Grandma Tucci, even displaying the original Lido sign after rescuing it from what was left of a massive fire that destroyed the Lido building.

With this kind of upbringing, the owners of Tucci want to create an atmosphere that embodies the importance of traditional celebrating with family and friends.  The goal is always to make everyone feel like an honored houseguest every time they dine with us.  As a team, they compliment each other well as connoisseurs of both fine Italian food and wine. They are all working owners who devote many hours to making sure Tucci is keeping up with their vision of celebrating food, family, and friends.

David and Suzanne Regan are the proprietors of Tucci.  Together, you will see much of their fine handywork, both in designing the restaurant to composition of our menus.
